Get Involved

There are several ways to support the foundation’s work in the Philippines — from one-time gifts to ongoing sponsorships to simply sharing our mission with others. Every form of support moves the work forward.

Donate

Your donation goes directly to program expenses — scholarship funding, community initiatives, and emergency relief. We keep administrative costs low so that your support has maximum reach. You can give a one-time gift or set up a recurring monthly contribution. All donations to the Inday and Oming Deiparine Foundation are tax-deductible under U.S. law.

Sponsor a Student

For a named, personal form of giving, you can sponsor a specific student for a full school year. You will receive updates on their progress, grades, and goals — and know exactly whose education your gift is supporting. Sponsorships are a powerful way to give with depth, not just breadth.

Spread the Word

The most underrated form of support is telling others about the foundation. Share our story with family, friends, or your community. The more people who know about our mission, the more scholars we can fund and communities we can reach. If you know someone who might want to give or partner with us, we would love an introduction.

Get in Touch

If you have a different idea for how you’d like to support the foundation — a fundraiser, a partnership, a matching gift program, or something else — we are open to conversation. Reach us at admin@indayomingfoundation.org.

Common Questions

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes. The Inday & Oming Deiparine Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity under U.S. law (EIN: 33-2418989). All donations are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a donation acknowledgment letter for your records.

How does my money get to the Philippines?

Tuition payments for scholarship recipients are wired directly to La Salle University Integrated School in Ozamiz City. No funds pass through the scholar’s hands. The foundation maintains records of all transactions and can provide confirmation to donors upon request.

How are scholars selected?

Scholars are chosen through a structured process that includes an academic review, a formal interview, and evaluation of financial need and character. Up to three scholars are selected per year. The school and foundation both participate in the review. Learn more on the Pionero Scholarship page.

What do I get as a sponsor?

Sponsors who fund a specific student receive an introduction letter from the scholar, a mid-year update, and an end-of-year summary. You’ll know who your support is reaching and what it has meant to them.

Can I give to a specific student?

Yes. Contact us at admin@indayomingfoundation.org to request a named sponsorship. We will match you with an available scholar and connect you with their profile and goals before you commit.

What if I want to give less than $1,000?

Every gift counts. Smaller donations contribute to a pooled fund that supports scholar needs throughout the year. There is no minimum gift size.
